HOTTY

Image  The heat is on  as HeatmaxUK have pledged their support for the Kona Land of the Yeti duathlon.

With competitors experiencing a huge range of temperatures during the 5 day race, the guys at Heatmax have come up trumps by supplying Toasttoes and HotHands for when the thermometer dips below zero and Evercool cooling Bandanas for those times when the sun gets too much.

Heatmax also supplied equipment for this years Yak Attack and a review of the ToastiToes can be found here.

Also to help you out with your charitable efforts we will give your cause some airtime on the homepage of this site.

So if you want to take on a challenge of a lifetime whilst benefitting a good cause then this is the place to be seen.

Journalist required for Yeti duathlon

As our original reporter has had to withdraw from the race, we are looking for a sports orientated journalist to take his place and to take part in and report on the forth coming Land of the Yeti duathlon.

We already have a major publication interested in running an extesive article on the race and this is an opportunity to be involved with the regions first ever duathlon .

Bimanair

Finally we have found a budget priced airfare from the UK to Kathmandu. They may not be Qantas but Bimanair can get you from London Heathrow to Kathmandu via Dhaka for £509, or business class for £819. On top of that they offer a very generous luggage allowance on the outward leg (40kg economy or 50kg business class) so you can take enough energy bars to fuel you through a dozen extreme challenges!!

The schedule means that you will have to spend a night in Dhaka, but included in the ticket price is hotel accomodation and transfer to and from the airport and probably a life changing experience!!

If you  require any assistance booking tickets for any of our challenges we will be more than happy to help.
