Sweden have just put their first two names on the starting list of Yak Attack 2010. The swedish national team coach and former professional cyclist Andreas Danielsson will team up with Martin Stenmarck, once winner of the Eurovision Songcontest. Martin, who´s one of the most popular rockartists in Scandinavia, has a long term relationship with mountainbiking and media attention surrounding his attempt at one of the worlds toughest mtb races is expected to be massive.

On August 29 a group of 14 friends from Newport set out to take on the Raid Pyrenean, (A 450mile ride across the French Pyrenees).The event is set to raise close to £10,000 for local and national charities and has been completed by less than 250 riders during 2009.
