Extreme World Challenges support Nepal National Champ |
|

Extreme World Challenges have teamed up with Dawn till Dusk mtb'ing Nepal, to support the Nepal National mountain biking champion, Ajay Pandit. A few months ago Ajay broke his Specialised frame and has since been racing and training on bikes he has been able to borrow from friends. Phil Evans, director of Extreme World Challenges (pictured with Ajay) and Chhimi Gurung, director of Dawn till Dusk joined forces to provide the 20yr old bike mechanic with a new Trek 8500 frame. Despite this generous donation, Ajay is still looking for a main sponsor that would be willing to assist him with training plans, financial assistance for equipment and race entry fees etc. This is an excellent oppurtunity for any company wishing to be associated with Nepals top MTB'er. Endorfin Trading fill sponsorship places |

South African company Endorfin Trading LLC have stepped in at the last minute to ensure that all the remaining five local Nepalese riders now have enough financial support to enable them to take part in Yak Attack 2009.
Ed Menzies, director of the comapny that distributes the sports nutrition product, Fast Fuel, in South Africa has generously offerd to support the remaining riders, Chandra Chhetri, Mangal Lama, Surendra Rai, Dhanjit Rai and Alok Gyawali. This is a very accomplished group of riders and Ed is hoping they can keep "Fast Fuel" on top of the leader board during the 6 day race around the Annapurna circuit. Matt Hart, director of Torq, met many of the riders when he competed in the gruelling event himself during 2008 and knows up and coming talent when he sees it. Phudorjee wins Mandala Trail event |

Phudorjee Lama Sherpa recently came a resounding first in the french run, Mandala Trail race. The 23yr old trekking guide from the SoloKhumbu region of Nepal was proudly sponsored by Extreme World Challenges and won the race wearing a pair of Phobic Stable running shoes, kindly donated by UK outdoor clothing company Berghaus. |
